In 2019 we were approached by Futurajoburg for one of our most challenging pieces yet. We were commissioned to make a 4.2 m x 2.47m beaded tapestry for Nike (the design was created by Futura), for their newly branded facility called Shapa Soweto. Shapa Soweto is a multipurpose sports facility that has been created to encourage communities within Soweto and surrounding areas to participate in a variety of sports and other creative activities.
Futura what an honour and a privilege to have been tasked with such a beautifully challenging task, THANK YOU! What an incredible space you have created for the community of Soweto. We Salut you guys.
